The RUSSET-RED GROUNDS position on sowings slopes which can be 120 meters of altitude. The composition of the ground is generally argilo calcareous on the slopes and sandy in the bottom of the slopes. For the new plantations, the “white grounds” are reserved for white types of vine like Sauvignon, Chardonnay or Colombard and the fresher grounds are reserved for the type of vine giving the rosy wine. |
